Renovation of the Eidsvoll station

Eidsvoll is increasing the capacity to be able to facilitate the new NSB Flirt trains.

Eidsvoll stabling

Implenia has completed the rebuilding of the stabling track at Eidsvoll station. The rebuilding was performed to facilitate the implementation of NSB's new base route model which will provide an improved train service in the Eastern Norway area.

Eidsvoll stabling

Project scope. The project included the replacement of 35,000 m³ of mass and the revetment of a wall. New service platforms were constructed for all tracks and an extensive well and pipe system was established along with a new technical structure.

Increased capacity. Where there was previously room to park three trains there are now six tracks with enough space for ten passenger trains in addition to two tracks for Jernbaneverket's operations department. The entire Eidsvoll stabling area has been completely renovated in only 14 months.
