The crossing of Tresfjord is approximately 2 km long.

The project was a part of the improvement of E 136 which runs between Måndalstunnelen and Våge in Rauma municipality in Møre og Romsdal. The Tresfjord Bridge alone has reduced the travel distance between Ørskog and Åndalsnes by 13 km.

Project scope. The crossing of Tresfjord is approximately 2 km long, of which the landfill amounts to 700 m and the bridge 1290 m. The bridge clearance is 32 m and 750 m of access routes on land were built. The size of the landfill was estimated to approximately 500,000 m3. The rock used for the landfill was retrieved from the Vågstrand tunnel.
